The Farm Shop & Deli Product Awards 2023 – First wave of winners announced!

With quality and excellence at its heart, Farm Shop & Deli Show announces the first wave of winners of its 2023 Product Awards. The final winners will be announced at the show when it returns to the NEC, Birmingham at the end of this month (April 24–26). 

Throughout March, an esteemed list of industry influencers came together to judge the products that entered the ambient categories of the Farm Shop & Deli Product Awards. Judging took place across three locations – Booths HQ, Thyme & Tides (Firsdown) and Kitchen Food Co. (Oxford).

These awards are unique, as the judging criteria includes details around the overall business model of products as well as taste. The judging scrutinised everything about the product from the full value chain to branding and packaging to taste, ensuring they are set to take their place on shelf in the FS&D sector.

This enhanced criterion gives business confirmation to buyers that an awarded product is worth stocking, and the judges included well know retailers, wholesalers such as Booths, Fortnum & Mason, Cotswold Fayre, Diverse Fine Foods, Kitchen Food Co and Thyme and Tides.

Commenting on the awards, Giorgio Rigali, Head of Communications, Exhibitions at William Reed commented, “We are delighted with the support this scheme has got from producers and buyers alike. NPD is the lifeline but this is the only one of its type where producers get genuine informed feed-back on the product and their business model which helps them refine their strategy. The remaining categories will be judged, and the results announced at the show.”
